Changing a Dimension

Dimension Description

You can write dimension descriptions to explain your dimension with others. Dimension description can be added at Data Hub, tab Dimensions.

By choosing your dimension and clicking on the Description row, you can type the dimension description and press Enter to save.

The created description will appear below the dimension name when being queried.

Edit a Dimension

You can edit your dimensions by clicking on the icon at the right side of a dimension row, at Data Hub, tab Dimensions, then

You can see dimension details and choose to Edit Dimension.

You can change dimension Name, Description and edit Dimension Values.

Hide a Dimension

You can hide your dimensions by clicking on the Hidden button at column Hidden in Dimension tab.

Hidden dimension cannot be found when you breakdown a metric in a document.

But, you can still use the hidden dimensions to create metrics using Aggregation Formulas and create new dimensions from Dimension Editor.

Delete a Dimension

You can delete your dimensions by clicking on the icon at the right side of a dimension row.

Dimensions created directly from raw tables cannot be deleted.
