Delete a Metric

Only metric owner can delete a metric.

You can find all your metrics in the Data Hub, Metrics tab and then move to Your Metrics tab.

You can delete a metric by clicking at the icon at the right of the metric line, then choose Delete

You can only delete a metric when it is not referred to by any documents or any other metrics. This is to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data on the platform. Deleting a metric that is referenced by other components can lead to data inconsistencies and errors, which can affect the overall functionality of the platform.

If your metric is used in a Doc, an pop-up will show you the Doc name and you can navigate to the Doc to remove the metric from the Doc:

If your metric is used to create another metric, an pop-up will show you the referring metric:

The metric is ready to be deleted only when all the connections are removed:
