Welcome to Presight, a platform designed to empower teams through seamless data analysis and collaboration. Presight unifies your data workflow by integrating two core components:

  • Data Docs

  • Data Library (Datahub)

This overview introduces these components and how they work together to enhance your team's data capabilities.


Core Components

Data Docs

Data Docs are dynamic pages that blend analytical reports with the flexibility of rich text and media. They allow you to create interactive documents where you can:

  • Embed Data Widgets: Integrate real-time data visualizations directly into your narratives or analyses.

  • Write Explanatory Text: Provide context and insights alongside your data.

  • Include Images or Videos: Enrich your documents with multimedia content.

This seamless integration enables you to present data insights alongside narratives, fostering collaboration and ensuring everyone understands the story behind the numbers.

  • Data Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives around your data.

Data Library (Datahub)

The Datahub is Presight's centralized repository for all your data assets, acting as a comprehensive glossary and library for your entire team. It encompasses:

  • Metrics: Standardized measurements to track performance.

  • Events: Actions or occurrences tracked for analysis.

  • Tables & Columns: Structured data organized for easy access.

  • Data Relationships: Visual diagrams illustrating how data tables connect.

  • Data Connectors: Integrations to connect and import data from various sources.

Datahub enables flexible exploration and effective governance of data definitions, ensuring that everyone in your organization is aligned and informed.

Use Cases

  • Unified Data Glossary: Establish a single source of truth for all data assets.

  • Data Governance: Manage data definitions and access policies effectively.

  • Efficient Exploration: Enable quick discovery and understanding of data assets.

General Workspace Features

Workspace Navigation

  • Main Tabs: There are three main tabs in the Presight workspace:

    • Home

    • Docs

    • Data Hub

  • Search Bar: Use the search bar at the top to quickly find documents and data assets.

User Information and Settings

  • User Menu: Located at the top right corner of the workspace, providing access to:

    • Notifications: View alerts for shares, comments, and ownership changes.

    • Account Name: Click on your account name to:

      • Change Account Name: Update your display name.

      • Change Password: Set a new password (requires at least 10 characters, including at least one number and one special character).

Support and Assistance

  • In-App Support:

    • If you have any questions or encounter technical issues while using Presight, click the Support option located in the bottom left corner of the page.

    • Submit a Request:

      • Select a topic related to your issue.

      • Provide detailed information to help us understand your situation.

      • Click Submit Form.

      • A member of Presight's Support team will reach out to you via email soon.
