# Metric Permission & Sharing ## Metric Permission Level By default, when you create a new metric, only you can see and use the metric. Your team members can see and use your metric(s) only when you share metrics to them. There are 3 permission levels for metrics on Presight:

Permission	Can perform
Owner	Transfer Ownership of metrics to another person; Edit/update metrics; View metrics, metrics' formulas, use metrics in documents.
Edit	Edit/update metrics; View metrics, metrics' formulas, use metrics in documents.
View	View metrics, metrics' formulas, use metrics in documents.

You, as metric owner, can change **Metric Permission** by clicking on the your account name (***Owner***) at the metric owner column.

Then, choose to share to specific team members or to everyone:

Or change the ownership from the **Owner** bar:
