Data in a Chart

PreviousQuery SyntaxNextInteracting with a Chart

Last updated 6 months ago

Past Data (Actual Data)

The solid bars or lines that you see on the chart represent the actual performance data of your metrics, from the past until the current time (contigent on your latest data sync). The data either comes directly from your data sources, or formulated by you using simple formulations on top of source data metrics.

Future Data (Forecasted Data)

The dotted bars or lines that you see on the chart represent the forecasted future performance of your metrics, from the current time onwards. Those values can either be automatically forecasted using Presight's proprietary algorithm (on top of ARIMA) or formulated by you, and can always be edited or updated by you any time.

Anomaly Detection dot

Based on historical values and fluctuation patterns of any metric, there is an expected range of future performance. When the metric actually performs outside of this range, Presight will spot this as an anomaly, and will highlight it to you via the means of a red dot. You can only see the Anomaly dot when you choose Time Granularity in Month.
