Adding Metrics

Last updated 6 months ago

Adding existing metrics

From any table, you can add a metric into it by clicking on the + button at the bottom left. Select New metric and a list will be prompted for you to choose.

Creating and defining new metrics

If you want to create a new metric, type the name of it (unique) similarly to above and click enter, it would create a new metric row and you can start defining it.

Components of a metric row in a table

Past data (Actual Data)

The figures that you see on the table represent the actual performance data of your metrics, from the past until the current time (contigent on your latest data sync). The data either comes directly from your data sources (in case existing metrics), or formulated by you using simple formulations on top of source data metrics (in case created metrics).

Future Data (Forecasted Data)

Future value will be automatically forecasted using Presight's proprietary algorithm (on top of ARIMA) and appear at the future periods. Future value also can be formulated by you, and can always be edited or updated by you any time.

Metric Ownership

Ownership of the metric will be shown in the column next to metric column.

Removing metrics

You can remove a metric or a sub-metric by clicking on the three-dot icon at the left of the metric name, then choose Remove from Table.
