AI Chat & Follow-up

Multi-Turn Analysis & Lightweight Exploration

What it is

Chat is a nterface where you can ask questions, follow-up for a deeper level of reasoning and answer. The AI remembers context within the thread, produces small tables/charts, and can chain a few steps (but stops short of long-running research).

Example prompts

• “Start from last answer and split revenue by channel for August; sort by margin; show top 8.”

• “Explain the drop in active users last week vs prior.”

• “Compare the performance of top 3 sales reps vs bottom 3."

How it works

1. Navigate to the bottom left corner of the doc, where you'll locate the floating button Presight AI Chat.

   

2. A side panel will show up where you can start asking questions, follow up, or add answer to the doc. Previous chat will be memorized and show up in this panel, allowing you to continue just where you left off.

   

3. For every answer, you can explore the thoughts process of the AI through the Thoughts tab located at the top of every answer.

   

4. If you like the answer and visualizations, you can also add them to the doc to continue exploration or make it into a full report. You also can verify the source of the numbers via the Sources tab or at every reference chip.
