# Quick Ask

## **What it is**

Quick Ask is a single-shot widget that answers a narrowly scoped question using your **governed metrics**. It’s designed for “one question, one answer.”

#### Example Questions

* “What was revenue last week”
* “Top 5 SKUs by margin yesterday.”
* “Main customer metrics in a table”

## **How it works**

1. Open your Presight doc  → locate the **Quick Ask** bar when you type `/`\

2. Type a question (e.g., *“Revenue last week vs prior week”*) → Enter<br>

3. See the answer. It is based of a governed, verified metric that you can trust.\ <br>

To follow up, simply click on the widget, hit Ctrl+K to refine the visualization or interact with the widget until you get the chart or table you want. <br>
