Right-click on any data column to turn on Diff Mode, where we can compare the # and % increase or decrease of that value vs the previous period, or vs the same period last year.
When scrolling the timeline on our Metric Table, you'll see that the separation between Actual / Current / Forecast segments are now improved so that you can navigate to the right view port in a single click.
When a table is looooong, and they usually are - user can now see the header with the timeline sticky so they don't have to scroll up and down to make sense which is which.
When you need to create a new metric from an existing one and do not want to use them as a sub-metric, this new syntax will allow you to quickly do that. This new metric will also behave just like any other custom metrics and even have similarly deep level of auto-insights.
Right-clicking on any metric name in the table will allow you to quickly generate a chart for that metric at the existing granularity.
Combine Ctrl + Scroll at the Y-axes will let you zoom in at the exact mouse position, then you can drag and drop the chart to reposition it.
Some metric values are so small when presenting in a chart:
Ctrl+Scroll Y-axes helps to zoom in and see the metric value in more details.
You can add a definition for a metric that you own so that you can easily distinguish them from each other - from Data Hub page or by clicking on the Book icon on the Doc menu. This description will be visible when you query, when you hover on metric name in table or legend names on charts!
You can double-clicking on metrics that you own to rename them. Upon refresh, new name will be reflected everywhere it is used!
All our widgets and query now also support a daily granularity.
Metrics will not be forecasted at daily granularity.
